Shipping Policy
Modern Law House, Prayagraj provides delivery of books across India through established courier and delivery partners.
Order Processing
Orders are generally processed and dispatched on the same working day or the next working day after confirmation of the order.
Delivery
Orders are normally delivered within 3–5 working days from the date of dispatch, subject to the delivery location and courier service. Delivery to certain remote locations may take additional time.
Shipping Charges
Applicable shipping charges, if any, will be displayed at checkout before the order is placed.
Order Tracking
Once an order has been dispatched, tracking details will be provided to the customer through the contact details provided at the time of placing the order, wherever tracking is available.
Cash on Delivery
Cash on Delivery is currently not available. Orders must be paid for online at the time of purchase.
Delivery Delays
While we make every reasonable effort to ensure timely delivery, Modern Law House shall not be responsible for delays caused by courier partners, incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Return, Refund & Exchange Policy
Modern Law House,Prayagraj takes reasonable care to ensure that books are properly packed and dispatched in good condition.
Eligibility for Return or Exchange
A return or exchange may be requested if the customer receives a wrong, damaged, or defective book.
Time Limit
Return or exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
How to Raise a Request
Customers should email modern.lh@gmail.com with the order details and clear photographs of the book and its packaging. Our team will review the request and provide further instructions where the return or exchange is approved.
Condition of the Book
The book should be returned in its original condition, except where the book has been damaged or found defective at the time of delivery.
Replacement or Refund
Where a return is approved, Modern Law House may provide a replacement, subject to availability, or issue a refund.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be initiated within 7–10 business days after the returned book is received and the return is approved. Refunds will be made to the original payment method, subject to the processing time of the relevant bank or payment service provider.
Order Cancellation
Cancellation requests may be made by contacting modern.lh@gmail.com before the order is dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
Non-returnable Cases
Returns will generally not be accepted for books that have been used, marked, written in, damaged after delivery, or otherwise altered by the customer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
